Heather Zeo, a teacher at North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, will stand trial for four counts of corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of a child. Prosecutors say that Heather Lynn Zeo, who is married with three children of her own, had sex with one of her 17-year-old students and sent suggestive instant messages to another student on Facebook.

Zeo has been suspended from her job at North Penn High School in Lansdale.

A Montgomery County prosecutor said at Wednesday's hearing for the 36-year-old teacher that Zeo engaged in a "calculated seduction." Defense lawyer Marc Neff says the boys were the aggressors.

This could be a tough sell, since Heather Zeo is the kids' teacher, and more than twice their age.
“This was really a calculated seduction. I think in this situation where she reached out to these students on Facebook, she contacted them, she developed a relationship with them. they trusted her.”

The prosecution asserts that Heather Zeo had sex with one of the students in her van, as well as in a classroom.
In addition to the sexual relationship, Zeo is accused of having suggestive Internet chats with another student.
