The bodies of Heidi Lynn Childs and David Metzler were found at a remote campground in the Jefferson National Forest off of Craig Creek Road. Heidi Lynn Childs and David Metzler were both shot many times: David Metzler's body was in his car, and Heidi Lynn Childs' body was outside the same car. Neither had any weapons, and the case is being treated as a homicide.

In the Virginia Tech student directory, Metzler's major is listed as industrial and systems engineering. Childs is listed as a biochemistry major. Both were sophomores.

The murders took place at a group campground that is popular as a Virginia Tech hangout.

Virginia Tech is no stranger to tragedy, after the murder in 2009 and the massacre in 2007, in which 32 people were killed.

When Bible reading, Prayer & any Christian activities after it has been banned in schools we have been seeing a lot of killings, shootings, murders, suicide etc., It is high time to look back. When you honor God, keep his commandments, draw nigh to the Living God, there will less of these evils in schools and colleges.

That's not true. God has given the gift of choice. Therefore shit happens. It seems wrong to address it as such in a heartless manner but that alas is reality.

When the sadness seems overwhelming, may the comfort overflows even more from the Living God. May the two families be consoled and strengthened by the Lord Himself. "The night is nearly over; the day is almost here." "I am coming soon." "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lore Jesus. Amen.
