A Shooting at the Post Office in Henning Tennessee on Monday Morning Killed Two Female Employees

Two female employees were shot at killed at the Henning Tennessee post office around 9am on Monday morning. WMC-TV has a video news report of the incident. 

It is thought that the employees were shot during an attempted robbery, but this has not been confirmed.

It is not clear who the shooter was or what the circumstances were surrounding the shooting, as sources with the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department have not released any more information at this time. It is unclear if the shooter is still on the loose, or if they are in custody. 

According to the Associated Press, officers are searching for a maroon color Chevy Malibu with two men inside.

Henning is located approximately 50 miles northeast of Memphis.
