China reports Serdyukov's warning to US on ABM

China's official government paper Xinhua today reported verbatim Friday's warning from Russia's Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov that "Russia is ready to destroy U.S. missile defense facilities in Europe if Moscow considers them as real threats." 


It leads with the quote from Serdyukov that the ABM deployment "raises our certain concerns, therefore we will destroy the missile defense," and includes his statement that the existing Iskander missile system is capable of carrying out the task, if required by a US refusal to restore their pledge to cooperate with Russia on missile defense.
