On Saturday evening, a German high speed train (ICE) crashed into a flock of sheep, leaving 15 people injured and none dead. The sheep got lost in a rail tunnel near Fulda when the train approached with more than 200 km/h (125 mph). According to German police, the tunnel helped in that the coaches could not be slated like in the 1998 Eschede disaster causing 101 victims.
The track is closed for several days during which the remains of the train and sheep are recovered and the tracks repaired.

The accident scene must have been horrible.
Edit: Yeah, lots of dead sheep in that video link...

One should add that both the title and the text are UTTERLY and UNBELIEVABLY misleading. That train didn't crash into a shepherd (the person who looks after the sheep, German: Schafhirte), but a flock of sheep (Schafherde).
Gosh, guys, before you post news, make sure it is accurate!
