Hijack Scare at Delhi Airport - Accused sent to Judicial Custody

The lone arrested accused in the Hijack drama has been remanded to 14 day judicial custody after a day his action on board an Indigo flight from Goa to Delhi got the Captain to issue a hijack alert. This put the Delhi airport and the security people through some tension.
Update: 11:38 IST Authorities have released the names of the three detained passengers as Sameer, Jeetendra and Hardeep (The female), Jeetendra has been formally arrested/ charged and the other two have been released by the police.
The arrested person will be produced in the Indian courts today.
Unruly behaviour by three passengers of Indogo flight E664 held the entire national security apperatus to ransom. Goa Delhi flight that landed at 5:30 IST at Delhi International Airport had to be sanitized for over three hours and all the passengers except the three arrested were only able to go out at 20:00 IST. There were 163 passengers and 6 crew members in the aircraft.
It is finally being confirmed by the Government that during the flight three passengers in the 12th row of the aircraft threatned to hijack the flight. The captain of the aircraft informed teh ATC and Anti Hijack procedures were pressed into service.
The flight was taken to the Airforce side of the airport and after three hours of drill where in the passengers were told that they will alight after a few minutes, the passengers were throughly screened and allowed to leave.
News Channels are showing two males arrested by the police a third passenger - a female is also under arrest. Home ministry has given an all clear and all the passengers are reported safe.
No weapons were recovered from the three passengers. Looks like for now the situation is under control.
While the security drill lasted the aircraft was surrounded by NSG and as per media reports the passengers were not aware about the hijack situation till they came out of the aircraft. The police is still questioning the suspects that caused this scare!
New Delhi: An emergency landing at Delhi airport on Sunday afternoon created a scare as the pilot reported suspected hijackers on board after a passenger's misbehaviour, but the crisis blew over later in the evening.
Security forces rushed to the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport after the pilot of an Indigo aircraft reported suspected hijackers on board, an official said.
"We have deboarded the plane and are in the bus now," says one of the passengers in the Indigo aircraft, Ramnik Singh.
