DEHRADUN, 29 Dec
: A man loved her from the depth of his heart, but she reportedly killed him with the help of a new boyfriend. It was saddening to report the murder of Sunder Swaroop alias Himanshu. A smart looking man with strong physique has reportedly been murdered by the new boyfriend of his love, rather it should be said, teenage attachment - Aparna Shahi, an equally charming and beautiful girl. The question that haunts everyone: ‘Was there no easy option to get rid off the unwanted lover?
Himanshu, a jawan of the Indian Army, had come back from duty just a fortnight ago. He was a student of BA (first year) when he joined the Army and was posted to Srinagar as warrant officer. While he was in school, he fell in love with Aparna Shahi of the same locality, who was also, reportedly, equally in love with him.
He joined the Army, went away on duty but remained in contact with his lover through letters. But a year proved too long for Aparna, and she could not hold on to the memories of her teenage- attachment.
When Himanshu came back on 17 December, he was eager to meet his love, but she did not have any feelings for him any more. Nobody knows what happened between them till 26 November. On 26 December, Aparna called Himanshu to Hathipaon, Mussoorie where her new boy friend Ankit reportedly killed him with a sharp weapon.

Man killed in love triangle at Mussoorie

Hathipaon the area near mussoorie has become safe haven for criminals many murders have taken place there as it is a secluded area without police patrolling this was one such incident.

latest:

Dehradun, 28 Dec: In relation to the murder of Himanshu near Hathipaon, yesterday, the deceased’s family has expressed strong suspicion about the involvement of more than the couple held in the case. They say that the accused Ankit was physically weaker than Himanshu and so could not have killed him on his own.
Locals joined the family of Himanshu and gathered outside the Cantt police station, today, demanding further investigation into the matter. The police theory states that Himanshu’s former girlfriend Aparna Shahi called him to Haathipaon as per a pre-planned scheme. Here, the girl was waiting with her present boyfriend Ankit Dhardar, who had a knife with which he stabbed Himanshu repeatedly. Ankit later faked a motorcycle accident and called the 108-emergency service to escort him to the hospital, where he allegedly admitted himself to avoid arrest.
At a press conference organised at the SSP’s residence, yesterday, Aparna Shahi, a polytech student at Suddhowala, had said that Himanshu and she had a 1.5 year relationship. She claimed that Himanshu had some letters that she had written to him and it was to take these back that she had called him to Haathipaon.
However, Aparna changed her statement today and said that she had not called Himanshu to the site of the murder, but that he had followed her there when she went to Haathipaon with her boyfriend Ankit. The two got into a fight and she claimed to have run away from the place to get help. She saw Ankit coming down on his bike after a while and got on it with him to get off at Kishan Nagar Chowk. She claimed to have no knowledge of what happened during the brawl between the two men.
On the other hand, Ankit said that Arpita had been standing nearby during the fight between him and Himanshu, and on seeing the latter fall into the bushes after sustaining knife injuries, the two had fled together. Cantt police station SHO Dinesh Baunthiyal assured the crowd gathered outside the station today that in case more names came up in connection with the murder, they would be arrested.
