After recent incidents of violence against minority Christian community in India, including burning of churches, a new wave of violence agaisnt Muslims has erupted in the country.
Hindu extremists in southern India killed six members of a Muslim family by setting fire to their home after earlier clashes between Hindus and Muslims left four others dead and 15 injured in the same village, according to an Indian TV channel.
Tensions have been high in Vatoli village since Friday when violence and looting erupted between the two sides, leading to four deaths, said Andhra Pradesh state Home Minister K. Jana Reddy.
Authorities imposed a curfew Friday, but were unable to stop the deadly arson attack, which apparently occurred before dawn Sunday, Reddy said.
Three children, including a 2-year-old, were among the six burned to death, he said.
Vatoli is in Adilabad district, 170 miles (275 kilometers) north of the state capital of Hyderabad. Muslim leaders called for better protection for minorities, especially in rural areas.

hussain, I like this story. No good news; too many people, religion is often bounded to business possibilities. So conflicts are programed. One child per family like in China, the only way out of overpopulation violence

Solarlife, thanks for flag. But I would disagree with the notion of overpopuluation. It is definitely a problem but it is politics that leads to this type of violence.

Rumana, yes you are right. As they say, 'Aur bhi gham hain zamanay mein mohabbat ke siwa'. I've a book for translation and am busy with that.

hussain, I like this story. It's good stuff. This is a very sad news. Any kind of communal violence should be condemned.

hussain, I like this story. It's good stuff. It is a shame to see religious groups who have a basic belief of treating others better as themselves. Killings are not based on religion it is based on using religion to hate. I have Muslim Friends, we talk about our similarities rather than our differences. I wish we could do that politically as well. If you want to grow corn, you have to plant corn kernals. That is built in to our world. If we want love, we have to plant love in others. When we kill we bring that back on ourselves.
Evene though I am a conservative I am careful how I treat my environment. The principle is if I want to breath good air, I must do my best to not produce toxins into the air.
Again, I am sad that killing is going on in Gods name... It really is about hate that is within.

politisite, good point, I can live with this strategy: "If you want to grow corn, you have to plant corn kernals"

ver tragic incident , but this relogious reference of killing is not going to solve the problem, rather fuel it to the edge......

I am thankful to all those who flaged this story and posted their valuable comments. Politisite has right said that "If you want to grow corn, you have to plant corn kernals" and I believe only this approach can guide us to lasting peace in our localities, towns, states, countries and the world.
