Activists of a Hindu terrorist organisation reportedly attacked a group of visiting Pakistani journalists in the capital city of India on Wednesday.

NEW DELHI: The extremists of a Hindu religious organisation, Shri Ram Sena attacked a group of Pakistani journalists here on Wednesday.
According to an Indian news channel, the Shri Ram Sena extremists thronged New Delhi’s International Center where a meeting of Indo-Pak Forum was going on. They thrashed visiting Pakistani journalists and chanted anti-Pakistan slogans.
Senior Pakistani journalist Rahimullah Yousufzai was busy going through an article published in an Indian newspapers when the poignant incident took place.
Later, an Indian journalist told Geo news that the person shown in the video footage was a Shri Ram Sena extremist and not a Pakistani journalist.

He is considered an authority on Afghan affairs as well as issues concerning the tribal areas and North West Frontier Province of Pakistan.
The Khyber Union of Journalists (KhUJ) has condemned attack on Pakistani journalists by Hindu fanatics in India and demanded of the governments of both India and Pakistan to take effective measures for protection of media-persons.
In a joint press statement, KhUJ President Mohammed Riaz and General Secretary Yousaf Ali said that journalists had frequently been attacked in India as well as in Pakistan, which should be a matter of serious concern for the governments of both the countries. They urged the Indian government to thoroughly probe the incident and award exemplary punishment to the perpetrators so that such happenings could be averted in future.
The KhUJ representatives said that a conference under the aegis of Indo-Pakistan Forum on the role of media in mounting tension was going on in New Delhi's International Centre when some Hindu fanatics reportedly from Shri Ram Sena started chanting derogatory slogans against Pakistan and the visiting Pakistani journalists.
The security persons and some Indian journalists, however, quickly moved into action and pushed the activists out of the hall. The event was being participated by five each journalists from India and Pakistan.
The time when the incident took place, senior Pakistan journalist Rahimullah Yusufzai was presenting paper in the conference.

News is correct.

New Delhi Sri Ram Sene activists stormed a gathering of Indian and Pakistani journalists in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The journalists had gathered at the India International Centre to take part in a panel discussion on "Is Media Jingoism Fanning Indo-Pak Tension."

However, the panel discussion was disrupted when the Sri Ram Sene group stormed the venue and raised slogans against Pakistani journalists.

With relations between India and Pakistan touching a low after the 26/11 attacks, such acts of hatred have become a common phenomenon.

The Sri Ram Sene is a radical Hindu group led by Pramod Muthalik.

'Not a big affair.' But had this happened in Pakistan, the Indian army would have been put on high alert on the border with Pakistan.

Ever since the emergence of Pakistan Taliban,  there is no need to put Pak army on high alert. They are already on high alert...!!

Your question is not unexpected. They do not seem to you terrorists because neither they are Muslims nor Pakistanis! Is it not a terrorism that guests of a country and that too journalists who were there to promote peace and understanding were attacked? If you have any doubts abou their terrorism, please visit the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindu_Taliban

These people who belong to Sri Ram Sena are thugs and jobless low lifes. Calling them terrorist is kind of honoring them. Terrorist have atleast highly motivated and work towards a cause - though in an extremely twisted way.

These things are doing such anti-social activities only to grab attention. Creating  a wiki page is hell a lot of publicity for them.

Sigh..!

it will never stop here.this is not just some hindu extremist it is a whole metality and philosophy inspired by chanakiya. i found hindu extremists more acceptable than the moderate congress leaders. because they do not waste any chance to harm the pakistan one way or another. cricket is an example.

the islamic version of Chanakiya is Al Qaida philosophy then its KKK in America the list goes on mate. religion is used as a tool for specific personal ends.  India is just reacting to what is happening in pakistan. they also have people who can use the situation to strirr up things. blaming one party or a group wont help here.

if an extemist terrorises someone then it should be terrorism.

you know in USA after the 9/11 if you looked like an Asian and had a beared you were branded a terrorist. the Sikh guys took the brunt of it and even got killed.

A few fear based events did happen here in the USA soon after 9/11, but all incidents were very fringe and out of a population of 300 million, way less than 10 incidents occurred where injuries and/or death were a component.

To be truthful, suspecision and attention toward groups of people who might pose a threat will happen, it's human nature. It is up to the people who are getting this attention, to make their case that they intend to be a part of the community, and obey the laws that make up the community.

Amaad is correct, however, when he states:

if an extemist terrorises someone [or a community] then it should be terrorism.
