Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff announces Bradley Buswell as the department’s first Deputy Under Secretary for the Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate”

In a press release earlier today Michael Chertoff the Homeland Security Secretary said he was

“Pleased to announce the competitive selection of Bradley Buswell as the department’s first Deputy Under Secretary for the Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate. Brad has the public and private sector leadership experience as well as the science, technology and engineering background to ensure the continued robust operation of this important directorate that provides technological capabilities to the entire department, and to our nation’s first responders.”

Prior to joining the department, Brad served for more than 24 years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear submarine officer, and also worked as a manager for General Electric Global Research, GE’s corporate laboratory. He most recently served as the S&T Chief of Staff, and has led its dramatic transformation in strategy and operations over the last 18 months. His efforts in restructuring the organization have significantly enhanced S&T’s ability to transition technology from research to implementation.

I am delighted that Brad has accepted this new position and I look forward to working with him to ensure the ongoing flow of great ideas from the world of science to help secure the homeland.

good stuff:

greg1usa, On a press release, go ahead and highlight it

If you need help with the highlight function, let me know.  Thanks for keeping us informed of DHS.  Most of us can't look at each agency everyday.  Since it is a government agency and a press release you can highlight as much as you like

greg1usa

Oh Ok Thank you. Sorry LOL, Do I need to change anything?

No, didn't know if you have used the highlight tool.
