House in Cardenas. Only the lower floor is lived in and cared for.

You'll notice the fellow on the bicycle: this was December and Cubans found it cold enough to wear jeans, jackets, and sometimes even winter-type hats! I was going around in shorts and a tee-shirt having just left behind a couple feet of snow in Montreal. It was about 20*C in Cuba.
