House to form team to probe Unas case

"We will form a team soon to investigate the case in the field," Deputy Chief of the Law Commission of the House Azis Syamsuddin said when accompanying House Speaker Agung Laksono during a meeting with the university`s delegation at the parliament building on Monday.

The House Commission would soon convene a working meeting with Police Chief Gen Sutanto to question the case, Azis said.

Agung Laksono said the DPR expressed regret over the attack on the campus, adding security personnel must avoid violence in dealing with student protests.

Finding the provocateurs or infiltrators?

He also urged the relevant parties to disclose the possibility of a third party infiltrating into the peaceful student protest that turned anarchic. "The existence of hassish, liquor, grenades, and molotov cocktail in the student protest must be investigated thoroughly," he said.
