A granmothers house was damaged after her 15-year-old grand-daughter's party was anounced on Twitter.

Around 150 people turned up at Glennis McDonald's house in Aberdeen, Scotland. They had allowed their grand-daughter, Victoria to invite a few friends around while they were out.

Victoria's grand-parents had left to go to a wedding.

But when the unwanted guests turned up they began causing trouble right away and police were called.

... and they turned up in force with three police cars, a van, and dog handlers.

Thousands of pounds worth of damage to the property in Aberdeen.

DOZENS of rowdy yobs trashed a gran's home - after they gatecrashed her grand-daughter's party.

Around 150 louts ran amok at OAP Glennis McDonald's house after word of 15-year-old schoolgirl Victoria's bash spread on internet site Twitter.

Three police cars, a cop van, and dog handlers were called out to tackle the wild mob who caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the property in Aberdeen.

Last night one neighbour said: "The inside of their house was totally destroyed. It looks like the kids went out purely to cause as much destruction as they could."

Distraught Glennis said: "It's an awful mess."

Glennis and retired hairdresser hubby Brian, 66, gave Victoria permission to invite round just a few pals while they went to a wedding.

But hordes of thugs turned up uninvited.

They smashed windows and doors and a TV, ruined carpets and paintings and nicked expensive ornaments and champagne.

Terrified neighbours in the city's leafy Mannofield suburb called cops around 9pm on Friday night as the trouble began spilling into their gardens.

I feel so sorry for this girl.  I guess kids should maintain that childish habit of not letting people know when they're home alone!  I was left alone at home a lot as a teen and rather than invite people over I used the freedom to stay out late.  The house never got trashed or even dirtied and I had a lot of fun.
