On ‘Democracy Now,’ Rolling Stone journalist Matt Taibbi explained how the American people have been defrauded by Wall Street investors and how the financial crisis is connected to the budget situations in states such as Wisconsin and Ohio.

Taibbi demonstrates how Wall Street knowingly sold bad securities to numerous state pension funds as “AAA” rated investments, which placed states such as Ohio and Wisconsin in financial peril. But instead of Wall Street taking the blame, unions and pensioners are taking the fall for allegedly bankrupting state governments with their “entitlements.”
