Muhammad al-Gaddafi The eldest son. During the 2011 Libyan uprising, Muhammad reportedly surrendered to rebel forces. He is believed to have fled to Algeria.
Saif al-Islam Gaddafi The second-eldest was long believed to be his father's successor. Saif is Western educated, spoke flawless English, and often served as a spokesman for the Gadhafi regime. His whereabouts are unknown.
Al-Saadi al-Gaddafi A former professional soccer player. He reportedly fled to Niger.
Hannibal Muammar Gaddafi Had several run-ins with the law in Europe. Also, semi-nude photos of Hannibal Gadhafi's wife Aline Skaf popped up on the internet recently.
Ayesha Gaddafi Gaddafi's only biological daughter, she works as a lawyer. Reportedly located in Algeria.
Mutasim-Billah Gaddafi Mutassim was known as something of a womanizer and playboy. He also had a taste for the good life and extravagant spending. He died in Sirte on October 20, 2011, the same day as his father.
Saif al-Arab al-Gaddafi Former military commander. Died on April 30, 2011 during a NATO bombing.
Khamis Gaddafi Former commander of the Libyan Army's elite Khamis Brigade. Believed to have died on August 30, 2011 during the fall of Tripoli.
Gaddafi is also believed to have had two adopted children, Hanna and Milad.
