When I think of bullies, I usually think of playgrounds and children, or even high-schools. But I never thought that I would find bullies in the workplace. If your boss or even a co-worker is treating you worse than dirt, your health could be jeopardized. The sad truth is that work bullying is more common than what you may think. One in six people in America have suffered being bullied at the workplace. This has a toll on your health and it can cause depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress syndromes.Opinion
Not to mention the harsh feeling towards the person bullying you.
It can cause unwanted violence in the workplace the post office is a good example. How many cases has there been of postal workers gone wild? They just snap! Go after their Supervisor's. Now it's turned to children and teens in schools and colleges.
Here are Some signs:
Shouting and swearing and change in behavior towards you
Ignoring other's point of view Persistent criticism Spreading malicious rumors Making threats Ostracizing, ignoring, excluding and freezing people out
