Hugo Chavez and Venezuela Cut Ties with Colombia

Hugo Chavez, as the President of Venezuela, has announced that they are cutting diplomatic ties with Colombia, as there are too many 'aggressions' from that country.

Previously, Colombia announced that Venezuela purchased anti-tank weapons from Sweden and they ended up in the hands of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, (FARC).

Chavez recalled Venezuela’s ambassador to Colombia, as well as most of its staff.

“Leave only the lowest functionaries” at the embassy, Chavez said.

Chavez has also said that he was going to take over Colombian companies in Venezuela if Colombia makes a remark against them one more time. Chavez says that Colombia is mistaken in their claims.

Oh   I hate to hear this one.  I have a wonderful relative living in Columbia.  I want her to

come here.  Places like this do make the USA not quite as horrific as posters here seem

to enjoy implying.  May I clarify that I am glad Chavez cuts ties.  I am not happy that

he wants to harm them.  It is  unstable  in areas

To bad this is escalating again.

Justice for the people is good and Chavez did great things for his country.

But lately he is going over board and his retoriques are some what to dangerous and a little to erratic.
