If the adventure is a success, regular flights of jetmen....will not replace Easyjet tourism. Speeding up to 130 mph Jetman can fly like a Cessna over the Channel from England to France. James Bond in Action, see you in Miami. Only smaller the Jetman
jumps out of the Cessna starting all 4 jet engines flying away. This year he is doing
his first channel cross test flight, learning the wind conditions. VIDEO jetflight

IS it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Jetman!

Yves Rossy or "Jetman" is a former fighter pilot who obviously couldn't get enough of his job.

He is now famous for jumping out of aeroplanes with a home made wing attached to his back.

And although he built them in his garage they do the job.

Yves jumps at 3000 feet, flips open his wing to its full length of 8ft and fires up its four kerosene-fuelled mini jets which propel him through the air at up to 130mph.

Later this month, he hopes it'll get him across the English Channel, as the first person to make the crossing on a solo, jet-propelled flight.

Let's hope he can find a way to slow down!

Christina 123, thanks for Flag "JETMAN crossing the channel", I would like to visit you at London with JETMAN, but the landing on Heathrow airport, I would need some rollerskates....
