The Cyprus-bound ship which arrived at Gaza in order to break the Israeli blockade on the Hamas-governed territory has left Thursday afternoon, carrying with it 7 Palestinian civilians, including 5 children.

It remains to be seen whether or not Israel will stop the ship by force, or if it will allow the free exit of these Palestinians to cyprus.

Clandestine?

They had a press conference. The headline of this post is misleading.

The Free Gaza Movement held a press conference in Gaza City Wednesday to announce that the two boats which arrived in Gaza Port on Saturday via carrying several dozen mostly Western activists will leave on Thursday carrying with it Palestinian students with valid foreign visas or dual citizenships who have been accepted to study abroad, a Palestinian professor returning to teach in Europe, and a young woman who will meet her husband abroad, the Jerusalem Post reported.

You're welcome.

IsraeliLawStudent, why are Palestinians forced to leave Gaza this way?

Why are students prevented from studying abroad? Why are humanitarian workers refused entry to Gaza?

Gaza is ruled by the hamas, a US-recognized terror organization. israel has legitimate concern that allowing trade and passage will allow hamas to continue pursuing terror, amassing weapons and warfare materials to be used against israel. Luckily israel is strong enough to protect itself against its enemies.
