NP Rank:
Hundreds of thousands call for Arroyo ouster
Organizers of the prayer rally in Makati City, the Philippines' biggest financial district, earlier estimated the number of attending rallyists at around 100,000. But, to my count, I think it may just reach half a million (will post videos soon).
I just came back from taking photos and videos of the demonstrators who would rendezvous at the Ninoy Aquino Monument at the corner of Ayala and Paseo de Roxas avenues.
The "interfaith" rally rests on three main agenda, namely; finding out the truth about the NBN-ZTE scandal, accountability of those involved, and ouster of the president, Ms Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Below are a few links to acquaint you to this latest challenge to hound the administration.

Update 1: February 29, 5:03pm - I'm in a restive mood. Of all the things to forget to bring to work, it is my mobile phone data cable. I could have already uploaded the photos and videos here at work.
Update 2: 6:30pm - Organizers estimate crowd at 80,000. The Philippine National Police's (PNP) estimate is 12,000-18,000
Update 3: 8:45pm - Please let me state myself cleary with regards to the headline..."hundreds of thousands" would actually encompass the protests and rallies effectuated around the country on Friday, not just in Makati.
