Huntington North Feels the Threat of Violence

 It was reported by sources inside Huntington North High School in Huntington, IN, that a possible Columbine type assault was planned. According to local officials, a piece of graffiti was located in a nearby retail store, stating the intentions of the alleged perpetrators.


 One alleged plotter was said to have been taken into custody  for possessing a firearm. The inside source said that they were taken from class to the pricipals office, and there was told that the source's name was listed on an alleged hitlist.


  The official news release from Chief of Police Emely is that the graffiti had been found and precautions were being taken to ensure the safety of students, faculty, employees and the public. He has not yet confirmed any arrests linked to the case.


  The inside source also stated that the alleged plotters were in the freshman class and that they had caused problems a year earlier at the preceding school. Further details will be forth coming as the case unfolds.


   The school website states that the threat appears to be rumors but every bit of security needed is being used.
