NP Rank:
“I am the greatest. I am king of the world.” Obama?
“I am the greatest. I am king of the world.”
Remember those words, “I am the greatest. I am king of the world,” spoken by another man with an Muslim name, Muhammad Ali.
Obama did not proclaim him king, the Republicans have. Obama just asked that people not underestimate him, because, like Bill Clinton, he is a comeback kid, or sorts. What is the basis?
“I'm a baaad man, Archie Moore fell in four, Liston wanted me more, so since he's so great, I'm a make him fall in eight, I'm a baaad man, I'm king of the world! I'm 22 years old and ain’t gotta mark on my face, I'm pretty, I easily survived six rounds with that ugly bear, because I am the greatest.”
Why Obama is a baaad man
· He made healthcare a public responsibility, bringing the USA into the realm of civility that eluded it since its founding.
· He made a major installment on Financial Reform and hopefully it will motivate Wall Street to do more than to try to unseat Obama.
· He bailed out GM and Chrysler and the banks and financial institutions that would have failed without it. That stopped the bleeding on a dying patient, a form of National Financial Healthcare if not welfare.
· He stimulated the economy with nearly $1 trillion.
· He made government bigger.
· He inherited a deficit and added to it, making it enormous and unsustainable.
Krauthammer describes what we have seen of Obama as “the first act.” I would say, Obama didn’t write the play, but he performed his part brilliantly. The second act will be of his authorship if the American voters give to him another opportunity.
If Obama can 1) just win baby, 2) stop the warring and save some money, and 3) reduce the size of government he will eclipse Reaganomics and for Christ’s sake, I hope we never hear that term again, and Krauthammer either.

In the political marketplace, there's now a run on Obama shares. The left is disappointed with the president. Independents are abandoning him in droves. And the right is already dancing on his political grave, salivating about November when, his own press secretary admitted Sunday, Democrats might lose the House.
I have a warning for Republicans: Don't underestimate Barack Obama.”

What does conservative columnist and FoxNews contributor Krauthammer have to say about it?
· Obamacare is a historic achievement transforming 1/6th of the economy from private to public. Krauthammer describes this as massive wealth redistribution.
· Financial reform passed. Krauthammer raises a question about whether it will prevent further meltdowns and bailouts.
· A massive number of new regulations are now imposed on everyone, that Krauthammer may be a bad thing.
· He stimulated the economy with nearly $1 trillion.
· He structurally altered of the U.S. budget expanding domestic spending and creating ruinous deficits as far as the eye can see that are not easily reversed.

I think Obama has set the table. Republicans might win back the House, and if they do it will become his house of cards. Why?
Obama will have to reign in the deficit. To do that, he must stop the wars and reduce the size of government.
Will Republicans stop that. No way.
If the Democrats win by slim chance, they are going to listen to Obama.
