When news broke of Josef Fritzl I was out for lunch with some gal pals. One of them - my friend Teresa Towey - had heard it on the radio and came running into the restaurant to tell us. My immediate thought was that Teresa was telling fibs again. (She does sometimes!) But when she had to use her inhaler, I knew it was true. I did not know what to say…I was in shock. The news made me feel a little sick because I knew Josef Fritzl in a personal capacity for 12 years. I am not from Austria, but I used to let out one of his chalets for holidays with gal pals.
