I suffered in a Mexican prison for two years. Two years, two months, and twenty-two days, to be exact. Since I’ve gotten my “freedom” back, I suffer still. I have very bad sleeping problems. I’ve only just now been able to go back on my medication. I take little baby steps. I’m overwhelmed sometimes, but I think I see little bits of light at the end of the tunnel.

Orato, great story. Thanks for sharing. It's good to know she's free and read the story from her own perspective and experience of living through that ordeal.

Orato, I like this story. It's good stuff. She is finally over the prison ordeal, but the aftermath of the experience is still lingering on her. I had no idea of the conditions.
Thanks for the article

Thanks everyone for the comments! It was a pretty sad story, we've spoken with her mother on numerous occasions as well, and she was absolutely heartbroken while Brenda was in Jail. It was nice to see her out of prison and recovering, but the story of her stay is horrible. Thanks for reading.
