NP Rank:
I Propose the Unborn Protection Act
Dear Legislators, [Democrat as well as Republican]
It dawned on me the other day, when I took the oath to defend
the Constitution of the United States, what I was really
doing was swearing to commit crime against humanity. I am sickened by what I swore to do. So I write. I write in hopes I can change your mind. I am taking on the subject matter of abortion, my feelings that relate to it, and why.
Did you know that the Constitution was not written solely to protect one class over the another class, as to imply; "because you can't verbally speak for yourself therefore you don't count as a real human being?" because it doesn't! Since when do we deny the blind, the deaf, or people in general, who have less abilities then we do, less rights? We don't, and if we did, we would be discriminating them based on their less fortunate circumstances. Wouldn't we? We would.
So I ask; being that discrimination is against the law, "Why we are allowing partners, naming women, the right to abort the unborn?"
It is a fact, the U.S. Constitution was written to provide protection for any type of class, regardless if the person can, or cannot speak for themselves. It is an out right violation of the U.S. Constitution for the government to favor women rights over the unborn child's, rights.
I ask; "Who are these people to claim their lives are more important when it was them who failed to take precautions in the first place?" Since when do we hold the innocent accountable for someone else doing wrong? We don't. So I say, to hold the unborn accountable for being conceived is the same thing as blaming the unborn because he/she is not wanted. Because the unborn is not wanted does not grant the woman the right to kill it.
There is nothing, no clause, no provision, no Amendment in the U.S. Constitution that states women or their lovers have a higher status, or rather more protection then the unborn.
How is Roe verses Wade even legal is the question. When the ruling itself out right denies the rights of the vulnerable? I say vulnerable because obviously the unborn is at a stage where it is unable to protect, or defend itself. If the unborn is unable to protect or defend itself it is therefore vulnerable.
A question that needs to be asked.
Why are we allowing partners, who are irresponsible to begin with, the right to abortion? If both partners took the time to take precautions, prior to intercourse, then the baby would not have been conceived in the first place! It is my understanding when you fail to take responsibility for your own actions, you end up paying the consequences for those actions. And again I ask; "why is the unborn forced to pay the consequences for the parents..lack of responsibility?
Claim to justify murder.
What is up with the claim; "because it does not resemble a baby yet, therefore I have a right to kill it" This claim is an out right human right violation of the worst kind. Who are these women to claim they have the right to kill, because whats growing inside of them does not suits their idea of what a human being is supposed to look like? These women know the formation of cells in their bodies is the process of life, forming, which means this growth is a human being, not just a growth, as in a tumor. For these women to claim it doesn't look like one yet does not mean it never will look like one either, It means it will, because it is. There is no sense going on and on denying it isn't a life when it is.
The fact that the unborn has not fully formed into a human being does not conclude it has no right to live. It concludes the unborn has every right to live, being that the Constitution says so. Again, the U.S. Constitution protects the rights of all human beings, especially if their circumstances prevent them from exercising their given rights before they are born. Unborn does not conclude right less, it concludes; "has rights being that he/she is at a vulnerable stage."
Because one type of class cannot verbally speak for self does not necessarily mean they don't deserve to be protected. It means those who cannot verbally speak deserve more protection then those who can.
What I propose
I am more for protecting the vulnerable then I am for protecting people who are reckless and or irresponsible. So I propose the Unborn Protection Act being that if I don't propose something, the U.S. Constitution will have to stand alone..And if it is made to stand alone then that means Roe verses Wade ruling may very well, more then likely, prevail. And frankly I just can't bare it! The thought of another child loosing its life just so the woman and her lover can go on with their own lives...sickens me! I refuse to support and or defend the right of the parents to kill an unborn child.
I have a duty, just as you have a duty too citizen, to make things right in the world. I am not saying drop everything just to save one baby, but why wouldn't you? If you were placed into the situation to either save a life or let that life be snuffed out, I bet you would save it.
You people know by now that you were not put on this earth in order to gain things for yourself. You have learned that you need relationships in your lives in order to feel alive. Relationships are what make you who you are. Bonding with other people defines you as a person. What about your brand new house, your new car, your 1960 motorcycle? Those things cannot speak for you, let alone define you as a person. You cannot be remembered by your motorcycle.
You can enhance your life
How do you know, why would you even consider letting go, forgetting about protecting the unborn. Never knowing if that person could have been your savior helping you along during turmoil; meaning pastor/father? Caregiver/Nurse; who honestly loved you like family, took care of you in your own home just so you could avoid living in a nursing home? Best friend; who was there for you through thick and thin and always had your back? Life guard; If it was not for him/her saving you from the pool you would have drowned? Husband/Wife; Because of him/her you had a wonderful marriage and 5 beautiful children? Brother/Sister/Cousin; If it was not for him/her friendship your whole life would have been boring as hell, because you raised hell? If, by chance, if it is not because of him/her who knows how your life will end up?
If you can do something to make it right, wouldn't that something be.. to save a human beings life? I hope that you will do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
There is a way you can support this act and that is to spread it around, get people talking about it. And while you are doing that, I am going to propose it to legislators.
Thank you for your time
Sincerely,
K'De

This is preposterous. I can go to another thousand sources and find the opposite--that Iran may have suspended its covert nuclear activity, for only a "brief time' in 2003." Anyway nobody even refers back to the actual NIE report, which leaves the answers exactly the opposite.
On the surface , this opinion piece is misleading. To wit:'
The White House made a stunning admission Wednesday
that appeared to suggest President Bush has directly contradicted
himself about when he learned U.S. intelligence that Iran had halted
its nuclear weapons program...
After taking a reporters' question earlier today about exactly what
the President was told, White House press secretary Dana Perino
provided a response to reporters Wednesday night.
Perino stated Bush had been told in August that Iran suspended it's covert nuclear weapons program. [Ed.note] No mention of the dates in question.
"In August, DNI Director McConnell advised President Bush that the
intelligence community would not be able to meet a congressionally
imposed deadline requiring a National Intelligence Estimate on Iran
because new information had been obtained just as they were about to
finalize the report," Perino wrote in an emailed response.
"He said that if the new information turns out to be true, what we
thought we knew for sure is right. Iran does in fact have a covert
nuclear weapons program, but it may be suspended," Perino's email said."
[Ed.note] That is what the actual report says, so nobody has lied, except, perhaps the person who wrote this propaganda.

You liberals love to say that Bush lied, regardless of the facts. Your hatred for our President and ignorance of his responsibilities is palpable. Either Bush's pressure for sanctions and the fast defeat of Saddam's army caused the Iranians to reconsider their program, or this latest NIE is erroneous. If the former, Bush deserves credit; if the latter, pressure must still be applied, and an American President cannot assume otherwise.

The above comments are disregarded being that I changed the subject title. To hell with the war and what Bush administration did and did not do, we have more important things to worry about. And that is to save unborn lives.
