Ian Halperin is known for the lies he mixes together to make them appear true. Luckly, America isnt naive, and his lies always seem to be brought to light. His new book "Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson" , is clearly filled with ridiculous nonsense. It states, Michael had "secret gay lovers" and would dress up as a woman for them. Not true. Clearly, Michael would have been "spotted" at some point, considering the press was always on his back, being sure to exclude positive acheivments as much as possible.
The fact that Michael Jackson was busy, basically all day everyday, even when he wasn't performing, he was giving to charities, not to mention keeping his own charity in order (Heal The World Foundation), MJ was recently even dealing with lawsuits that people made on him, ( in which some were wrongly made out ), and with all this he dealed with, he still made time for his children. Its a shocker if he even slept! It's obvious that Michael Jackson had no time to even think about "gay lovers", or any type of lover at that. Surely, trust issues were a big part of Michael's life, considering the fact that many rumors were said upon him.
Also, Ian Halperin contridicts himself in the novel by stating that Michael was "broke, and could barely put food on the table for his children.." If Michael Jackson was in such a finacial need to the point that he barely could put food on the table for his children, I doubt that he's going to basically be a "prostitute" to get the money he needs, and risk being caught in the act. And not to mention the "lovers" surely would have told to public about the the affairs for money themselves. Since Ian Halperin claimed Michael Jackson was so "broke" that tells us that he couldn't have even payed them to keep the secret in the first place.
It's a mystery to see what the disrespected Jackson family has to say about this! Most likely, this book will soon be revealed as a hoax.

I'm so HORRIFIED about the scandalous intent of the author! I'm completely blown away....this morning in an interview he declared that he really cared about Michael during his last 6 months. What bull crap!!! Michael didn't have gay lovers....what nonsense. I'm so appalled that this idiot would say these things....he clearly is ONLY doing this for the $$$$$$$$. PLEASE DON'T BUY HIS BOOK. Michael wouldn't want you to blow your money on this detestable stuff.

This man is disgusting! He is coming out with his book now that the main subject of the book is not here to defend himself! This kind of garbage makes me sick. Please just let the man rest in peace, he deserves that. If these allegations were even half true, there would have been news regarding the allegations before now. Trying to get publicity after a sweet, gentle, loving man is gone is horrible. I hope that no one buys his book!

I agree with both of yall. I just saw the interview they had with Ian Halpein on entertainment tonight. I can't believe they even put him on tv with those lies. The lady that was interviwing him. Didn't even believe him. First he was a child molester now he's gay. Stop with all the lies and let Michael rest in peace. The Jackson family should sue him. Oh please don't make Ian rich off his lies. Don't buy the book.

I wrote this on my facebook wall....If anyone feels the need to know about Michael Jackson, they should first learn the meaning of love. LOVE = If you see someone in need, HELP THEM!!!!! Don't spend one cent of your hard earned money on some crazy crap coming out of Canada .... useless book by Ian Halperin book Michael Jackson: Revealed! Please... from what I know ... gossip and garbage only ruins the positive energy/ person in YOU!

this guy was on the radio here today and i wanted to scream! he actually said, AND I QUOTE, that "Michael knew about the book and wanted it to come out." He contradicted himself by saying MJ was gay and stayed in the closet for fear or rejection by fans and the black community. So, if that were true why would he want the book to come out?! He even said Debbie Rowe wants custody of the kids so she can sell them! This guy....I dont know what to say..Hes all happy that his prediction about Michael dying came true. Now hes all like " I told you so". The sad part is he works the angle that he likes MJ and thought he was a good guy so that people will be more apt to believe him, if they think he liked Michael and had nothing against him. Just plain EVIL.

I'm sorry but this is some BULLSHIT! First of all, now all of sudden when Michael passes away...he's randomly a gay cross-dresser. Bullshit! Ian Halperin is a cross-dresser and a prostitute. Second of all, Michael was not broke. Don't believe they hype people!! Remember, Michael Jackson owns half of Sony. Yes, he owns the rights to his own work, as well as half the royalties of all Sony artist.(including numerous Elvis songs, The Beatles, Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, and the new artist like Lady Gaga, etc.)
This man was not broke. If MJ is broke, then so is Sony. These demons, these cross-dressing prostutes will say and do anything to destroy the legacy of Michael Jackson. I better not see this book in any store, anywhere.

halperin is NOT an investigative journalist, he does NOT have any sources what-so-ever for any of the stories he "exclusively" writes about, it's very clear. It's actually comical reading his stuff simply because of how absurd it is. He is an absolute nobody in the gossip world hoping to get a name for himself through lies and salacious stories about the most famous celebrities. halperin lies repeatedly not only about his stories but about his credentials, which do not exist (even Rolling Stone had to call him out when he claimed they personally gave him some prestigious award). He was sued for libel during his college years for spreading BS and later charged criminally with perjury, whereby he fled his own country for a couple years to avoid the trial.
You can tell straight away that halperin's gay. In a joking sense he was probably craving for Michael and the fact that Michael was not gay is still bothering him.
I can write a 'biography' for halperin too. I don't even have to had met him to do that, just like what he did for Michael. But I can guarantee what I write for him would be much more factual than what he wrote for Michael.

It gets worst in 1994, he helped co-author a book that alleged Kurt Cobain's death was homicide rather than suicide. The story Ian and his partner Max Wallace told, and the allegations they made changed significantly as their publicity tour continued, and their sources for the allegations were likewise heavily scrutinized by the media at the time. When the book was published years later, both of these authors admitted they weren't able to offer any solid evidence to implicate anyone in the alleged murder of Cobain, despite writing a book full of insinuations. The book was entitled Who Killed Kurt Cobain. Then they wrote another book called Love And Death. Some of that contraversal claims of Kurt being murdered came from a PI named Tom Grant, who had once been hired by Cobain's wife, Courtney Love to find him was making accusations claiming he couldn't have shot himself, due to the high amount of Heroin that was found in his system.

Ian Halperin is a sick twisted psychotic liar who claims that anorexia and bulimia exist together. A big WHATEVER. He finds it interesting to ruin other people's lives. He couldn't even respect the dead. He would try to wreck people for money and for a guest appearance on t.v. Well guess what mister, im not buying and ill never will. You can't ruin Michael's name. Ian Halperin is a liar starting with his claim that he is a Rolling Stone Investigative Journalist award winner. Not true. Ian won a college RS award that was split with the school newspaper! Ian Halperin is just a fucking lieing bastard whose just looking for publicity.I hope he gets his ass sued for the contraversy around Michael Jackson.
The worst case he was involved with was the contraversy that he and Max Wallace and had created were circumstances surrounding the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain whose death dates back on April 5, 1994. I hope he gets his ass sued for that case too.

Thank you for sharing I just looked read parts of the book while shopping at the store. I was so disturbed can't believe it's on sale everywhere. How horrible and what a creep he is. Disgusting..Why did he include the last part of the book called "Appendix". What was that all about?? Was he accusing Michael or saying the boy was rehearsed by his family to lie in order to get money..Only read portions of the book.

im pissed out about how his guy gets on tv and radio and people actually give him credibility and believes this shit when APHRODITE JONES gets nothing. she only went on the bill oreilly show once only to be burned because she was pro jackson. IAN KNOWS NOTHING and it pisses me off how the fucking media is using him as a credible source. i mean, fair enough that he sheds light on the false child molestation accusations, but the whole thing about him being a closet gay and him being a drug addict and not physically fit enough to do the shows when there are people WHO KNEW HIM PERSONALLY and WORKED WITH HIM who will tell you that he is NOT gay, he was in perfect shape, was fully aware he was going to do 50 shows, and was confidant and excited about it. people llike his close friends, family, manager and personaly tranier. where are these guys? but no, the world beleives some tobloid junkie. Not going to buy this book. It's the gay thing. Michael said he was not gay and I believe him. As for the truth about the child molestation accusations in 1993. Halperin's stuff looks almost exactly like the investigative article that Mary Fisher wrote for GQ in 1994. No evidence of child molestation, no matter how far and wide the search. And no evidence of homosexuality either, but plenty that he was a "woman lover," according to Teddy Reilly who worked closely with Michael for ten years.
