I was driving north from Jerusalem today and passed at least 100 mud-encrusted tanks loaded onto heavy duty trucks heading out of Gaza back to their bases in northern Israel.
It's hard to tell if you won't listen to reports from BOTH sides - on the ground, not somebody's spin from halfway around the world on their easy chair.
The pen is mightyer than the sword ! If israel had let journalists into the strip then reports coming out would be much more reliable. Why didnt they do that again ?

and controlling access to Gaza.
