The idiotic action of President Saakashvili? by Babel-Fish

On analyzing President Saakashvili action of launching an attack on the citizens of South Ossetia and thus on the mighty Russian Bear, I have found a possible answer to this idiotic feat.

The South Ossetian’s are mainly Russian stock so they have a similar problem of Russians else where in the old satellite states of Communist Russia, its become a racial hatred thing and their neighbors seemingly wish to ethnically cleanse these small enclaves of what they see as Russian intruders.

Georgia is one of the poorest ex-satellites and has no true worth in the battle for controlling the supply of Caspian oil, America eye is more firmly fixed on the oil rich Caspian Basin area. So why so much interest in this small countries infrastructure there of course is one oil pipe and one gas pipe used to supply oil to Europe. It not that important to see the need of US military training and supplying the machinery of war.

I have seen journalistic claims that the Bush administration backed this war, so as to add Russian hatred as a tool to win the next election. But I think that’s not the answer as after the initial news media drive to prove that Russia is the bad boy, the media starts to have a hay day at getting at the truth. In fact many republican politicians are wishing they didn’t pile on to the nasty Russian bandwagon.

It however it does look like that President Saakashvili is a US puppet, even sent to USA to have his final education honed to suit the task the CIA had picked him out for.  Since the breakup of the communist block and the collapse of communism due to the lack of revenue to fuel its existence, Russia has fought tooth an nail to keep its interest in oil revenue, as it had know it and its former states where sitting on one of the world richest oil reserves within the Caspian sea basin. The revenue would make Russia a strong nation once again.

USA has been wooing the ex-satellite states part of a chess game to limit Russia’s interests in these nations oil supply. Georgia seemingly is not that important within this game as it’s got no known oil reserve.

Of late Russia has been getting more jumpy about USA’s interest in Caspian Oil, early this year Putin made a clear statement to that effect by actually accusing America of wanting to steal Russia minerals.

So why was Saakashvili bold enough to attack South Ossetia, knowing that Russia could retaliate and had increased its forces on its borders? Could this be an American ploy to see if Russia would retaliate, well if that’s the case Russia did and that would mean that America has to be more careful about its bigger investments else where in the Caspian Sea area. Investment lost in Georgia is expendable and this was the ideal place to launch this plan.

Lets face it even when Putin was in China with other world leaders, the Russia military struck and forced the enemy back in time for tea, making a very bold statement Russia’s army is very strong against US trained forces. In my opinion, is the pain seen on George Bush’s face when he gave his instructions to the Russian’s to remove their troops, was look of frustration and great disappointment.

The big problem now is that the global US oil entities have no assurance that their investments are safe within the Caspian Sea area. It’s a case of Russian roulette; you pay your money and take your chances.
