"We received a letter from IFALPA expressing serious concern about and conveying sympathy for Captain Pilot Marwoto Komar who has been detained by the Yogyakarta police," APG President Stefanus said here Thursday.
The international organization had also voiced its hope that Marwoto could be set free unconditionally as the police had apparently detained him on the basis of a report of the National Commission on Transportation Safety (KNKT) on the Garuda plane crash whereas that report had yet to answer "many serious and important questions," he said.
