II AND 12 YEAR OLD BROTHERS CHARGED WITH VIOLENT ATTACK.

As sign of our times. To young boys 9yrs and 11yrs set out on Sunday the fifth of April on a fishing adventure. A fun day out away from the Hubble bubble of city life. A quiet peaceful trip embracing the joys of nature.

However. The young boys soon found their peace disturbed by two brothers 11 and 12 yr olds who have not been named. The brothers attacked the young boys and robbed them of their mobile phones bikes the trainers off their feet and three pounds in cash. The violent brothers proceeded to torture the boys by burning them with cigarettes slashing their faces with a knife and battered them with bricks. The boys were left face down by the river one being critically ill. No doubt in shock the boys tried to make their way home.

A young ten yr old girl saw the boys with blood covered face stagger across the street in Ellington South Yorks. The young girls mother Lisa Meehan helped to get the boys immediate medical help.

Why are our children becoming so violent at such a young age? The truth is it could be almost anything from social or family problems, or perhaps food intake diet. Children are growing up too fast it seems to me. It was also reported a few months ago about the 12yr old father and 13 yrs old mother, who had a baby and now both trying to be parents, children being parents does not gel with me too easily.

However it is clear here in the U.K. that our next generation are getting access to the phase of sex drugs alcohol and rock and roll. The Gangster raps and accesses too much information, which can become distorting and confuse a young mind.

The young boys who were so horrifically attacked that Sunday I pray recover to become strong young men. As for the brothers who were so savage and brutal I pray they be cured of what ever it was that led them to be so beastly and brutal.

UPDATE The nine year old boy has been released from Doncaster hospital after undergoing two operations on one of his arms.The 11yr old is reported to be detained in hospital and is bruising so painfull he cannot even bear a hug.It has been reported that he remains in a very distressed state by bursting into tears at the sight of strangers.The Brothers responsible were detained by HMS on tuesday after being accussed of attempted murder.

UPDATE.The father of one of the 9yr old boy who has been releaded from hostpital revealed that the two brothers who attacked his son were drinking cans of Lager while torturing the victims.

"A sign of our times," you say. I think you are right. A weaker and wiser generation. And as you will recall, last winter a boy of 11 did shoot his intended step mother, who was pregnant with his little brother or sister. Awful. God bless the children. They are being raised on violent TV and games, just as Cypresso says.

I am guilty myself. Sometimes when the grands come over and are engaged in endless chatter and loud, exuberant play, I find myself saying, "Go watch TV or play a game on your Playstation." That is the easy way, but sometimes it comes to this.
