In a Press Conference Moments ago, Speaker Madigan, stated, that since the Governor will not resign, "It is my intention to appoint a special committee to begin immediately an investigation into the governor's conduct in office and to undertake the preparatory work that is a prerequisite to an impeachment proceeding in the Illinois House," .

It is the Intention of the Speaker to put together a bi-partisan committee quickly.  Some party insiders are saying that the Governor may resign on Tuesday and that an impeachment proceeding may move him along.

It should be noted that the Speaker has been vocal, over the years, that he has wide disagreement between he and the Governor.

Honestly, The inquirys have showed nothing.  The Right Wing Bloggers and the RNC need to be thankful PE Obama didn't pick all left wing folks for his cabinet.  Based upon the audio tapes, the Governor hates Obama because he didn't play.  For this conservative, I am hopeful he may actually be better then we thought.

Pretty soon, we'll need John Madden to draw a diagram to keep up with these attempts to dethrone  Gov. Rod Blagojevich (yes, I cut and pasted it).

You mean the name spelling?  I have cut and pasted as well.

They are going after him from all angles.  I wish the GOP would just keep their mouths shut for a year or so...

I think, as the chatter is saying, he will resign on Tuesday as Obama is in Chicago announcing his new Education Secretary.

and the saga continues :on Dec. 4, according to the feds, here’s what they heard: Blagojevich told an adviser he was giving “greater consideration” to one pick for the Senate seat, named “Senate Candidate 5″ by the feds, because of that politician’s willingness to raise money. That man has since been identified as U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., the Chicago Democrat affectionately known in his hometown as Triple J. -very entertaining :)
