Imelda Marcos will not win the seat as she is not liked in the Philippines her daughter will win the governors seat, she does not get on with her mother and is known to be anti-corrupt.

The reporter has actually made a mistake about Arroyo of whom is not known as the most unpopular president since Marco's. See actually is loved by most Filipino's especially in Central Visias where the bulk of her supporters live. The opposition and their news media however call her so.

She has in fact done a great deal of good work in the Philippine improved the highways and infrastracture, land reform and aid to those in poverty. However she has worked with the corrupt due to the fact that most politicians are corrupt.

Manny Pacquiao's a good guy and a national hero, I am glad he is not going for president using his fame, I think he will be successful this time round. He is not corrupt at least I don't think so.

The former first lady of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos, has registered as a candidate for congress in next year's elections.

The 80-year-old widow of former President Ferdinand Marcos will run in the northern Illocos Norte constituency, a Marcos stronghold.

President Gloria Arroyo, who steps down next year, has already registered to run for a seat in congress.

Also running is seven-times world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.

This will be his second attempt to gain political office. He was defeated in the congressional election of 2007.

Ferdinand by the way is still not buried but on ice, yep kept frozen, the argument was Filipino's did not want his grave to be a national shrine, but his wife does.

He was definatly the most corrupt president and dictator, but when in power laws where obeyed and many people say the Philippines was a better place, much more organised.
