IMF director DSK keeps his job despite employee affair, he sexually harassed Nagy, then fired her?
Sexual employee harrasment ?
The issue, whether Strauss-Kahn had sexually harassed Nagy, and pressed her to leave the fund or used his authority to give her preferential treatment in her buyout, stays uncleared, for US laws not acceptable. But a common way in France to mistreat people, that are dependant in some way.
Clinton-Levinsky, StraussKahn-Nagy IMF, Wolfowitz worldbank fired
Anyway this is not the'aventure 'which was investigated by the IMF, but whether it had an influence on the professional attitude of DSK to this woman. Clinton has been on public TV accusation because he had lied to the American people about his relationship with Monica Levinsky. Wolfowitz the worldbank president was fired because of his employee affair benefits. Strauss-Kahn has no time for kinky investigations, money needs to be spend quickly.
DSK the socialist wonder woman for Bush
Money crisis needs Bush "Hamburger helper" DSK in power. He is paid in US dollars at IMF. So the case was quickly downplayed for the coming US Bush meeting. DSK sold first the gold of the IMF, then fired as a good socialist 600 employees ( including "Nagy"). Now he should provide a fictious saving program. IMF takes your money and trash it in the bancrupt banks, countries, with hyper inflation as result. But a dollar stays a dollar, only you will need 5 dollars to buy a coke after the bailout scam.

Wall street journal rolled out the case naming Piroska Nagy
quote liberation:
Wall street journal, strauss kahn OK, but female staff objects...
Mr. Shaalan said Mr. Strauss-Kahn had suffered some loss of confidence among board members, but "he will regain it very soon." Female staff members had also objected to his behavior, Mr. Shaalan said.
The old boys network to trash your savings
WASHINGTON: The International Monetary Fund said over the weekend that it would stand by its managing director, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, despite concluding that he had shown poor judgment in a sexual affair with a subordinate.
After receiving a report from an outside law firm, the executive board of the fund said Saturday that there was no evidence that Strauss-Kahn had abused his power or shown favoritism in his brief relationship with a senior official at the fund, who later resigned to take a job in London.
Still, the longest-serving member of the board, A. Shakour Shaalan, described the affair as a "serious error of judgment" on the part of Strauss-Kahn, 59, a former French finance minister who took charge a year ago and is now steering the fund through the most serious global financial crisis in decades.
In a statement, Strauss-Kahn said, "I am grateful that the board has confirmed that there was no abuse of authority on my part, but I accept that this incident represents a serious error of judgment."
The inquiry, by the firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, concerned a brief relationship between Strauss-Kahn and Piroska Nagy, then an official in the Africa department. Nagy left the fund in August as part of a buyout of nearly 600 employees instituted by Strauss-Kahn to cut costs

jessica.lam thanks for generous comment "Hmm". For American women working in the IMF, sex and money does not fit together, firing employees. A Sexual Harassment case in front of an US court could cost several million dollars in the US. As a boss of the IMF with a no corruption reponsability you can never have an affair with an employee, you get fired.
