I work in the neighborhood where all of this is going on so I 've been having a birds eye view of it everyday. What was happening on this particular day was a rather uplifting moment in an otherwise sad story. The way the people of Oakland came together was amazing to see and be a part of. However the resulting aftermath of some cowardly individuals, who obviously thought their statement should be heard through vandalism, but didn't have the heart to stand by it. Was rather disturbing.
Overall I truly believe that the memory of Oscar Grant was served a major justice in this rally. As you can see in the photos. People Care!
