Yes...That s a rooster tail!!! This is just north of the West Fork Sportsman's Club campground. The stream when it is not flooded is only about 10 to 12 feet across!!!! It started to rain about 12:30 and it was short, only about 2-3 hours, but very intense. With more rain in the forecast we decided to call it a weekend early.

The club does an incredible job along with the Blackhawk chapter of Tout Unlimited at doing stream improvement all along the north fork of the Kickapoo. It's a wonder that when it rains like this that any of the things they do to improve the stream stay there!!!

we where about 8 miles east of Viroqua WS. The raion s hit about 11:30......this pic was taken at 3:00. It was a very hard rain and the streams could not hoold all the water
