India Factory Explosion: At Least 8 Dead, 40 Hurt in Singrauli

An explosion in a factory in Singrauli, India is believed to have caused the deaths of at least 30 people and injured 100 others.

Police in the Bairhan Industrial Area of Singrauli says that the deadly explosion took place at the Ideal Explosives Industries. The blast triggered another explosion in the neighbouring Rajasthan Explosives Private Limited. Police have yet to determine what started the blast.

Rescue operations are currently underway as police believe there may be more people trapped under rubble.

the company in which explosion occured was IDL not Ideal. death of 30 is not yet confirmed, it is about 16
