India By-Polls - Communists eat dust again.

As expected, the Communist parties are biting dust along with other things in India by-polls.
In the traditional communist strongholds like Kerala and West Bengal states in a clear people's verdict the main hard red party, the CPM either lost or decisively losing seats

In Kerala all the three assembly seats where the by-polls conducted, the Congress lead UDF bagged all seats.

In West Bengal, another communist fortress, Trinamool-Congress alliance leading in 7 seats where as the CPM is leading just 2 seats.

In Kannur, former CPM Lok Sabha member A.P. Abdulla Kutty defeated M.V. Jayarajan of the ruling Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) by over 12,000 votes.

In Ernakulam, Dominic Presentation defeated CPM's P.N. Seenulal by more than 8,000 votes.

In Alappuzha, A.A. Shukur defeated G. Krishnaprasad of the Communist Party of India by over 5,000 votes.

In Firozdabad Lok Sabha bypoll, SP leader Mulayam Singh’s daughter-in-law Dimple Yadav is tailing filmstar Raj Babbar by 1000 votes in the initial phase. Samajwadi Party nominee Bukkal Nawab is leading over his nearest rival BJP candidate Amit Puri from Lucknow (west) assembly seat.

Well communists are definitely loosing battle on democratic front, but they are using different weapon these days, Maoists are making it tough for government in many states.

The "so called" (Woah..I love these words) Maoists are not Communists. They are just anti social elements and mere terrorists. With all their drawbacks and flaws in their ideology, Indian communists do know democracy tunes and can even dance a bit too.

"So called" maoist terrorists are nothing but hired thug by India's one of 'you know who' neighbors.
