New Delhi (ABC Live): Indian Union Cabinet on Friday decided to bring an ordinance to hike the salaries of Chief Justice of India, judges of the Supreme Court, Chief Justices and judges of High Courts.

Indian democracy at cross road finding hard to get reality bites some time judiciary bite more or on another incidence legislative or executive try same but sole motive to show authority over others in absence of clear demarcation of their boundaries.

parliament has more important work to do, these salary matters are just procedural.judiciary needs it....and it was long overdue!

I think you have not gone through the zest of article, debate is when parliament passed 8 bill in 17 minutes on last day of monsoon session expect bill regrading pay hike for judges than what made Indian government to bring ordinance just after some days for same.

well it is great story but the pay hike has fall out too.What wrong have other govt  departments  done they should also get a pay hike especially paramilitary forces
