10 different fire outbreaks with at least least six ruled arson kept Indianapolis fire fighters busy from midnight to 6:12am Tuesday morning.

The first five fires broke out between midnight and 1 a.m. Tuesday on the near east and near south sides. They include vacant homes in the 900 block of Dearborn Street, 2500 block of 9th Street, and 30 block of Karcher Street. A trash fire in the 1700 block of Nelson Avenue and a garage fire one block away were also ruled as arson. The 10th fire was near Kansas and Meridian streets.
