Indians express solidarity with Pakistani marchers

NEW DELHI: Groups of activists from different cities in India held meetings and rallies to express their solidarity with protesters in Lahore who staged a march in their city on Saturday against growing terrorist attacks and religious fanaticism in Pakistan.

'We are here to extend solidarity with the Pakistani people, as our neighbour bleeds and falls victim to one terror attack after another, even as US extends its stranglehold in the region,’ said Radhika Menon of the Delhi-based Forum for Democratic Initiatives during a march at Jantar Mantar, near the parliament

this time the public of the sub continent has taken the lead. if the people of both countries reject all forms of terrorism in their respective neighbouring  country then both the goverments will be obliged to stop the subversive activities against each other and replace it with cooperation. if both want to keep a democratic and responsible face to the world

It seems this is not for the sake of 'solidarity' but 'animosity'.

People show "animosity" where it must be shown.

Indians have shown sympathy in the past as well its not something new. during the devastating earchqake in Pakistan. there was a universal sense of solidarity from the Indian people and the Indian Goverment matched it with support in terms of aid for the victims of the earth quake. both countries are just dealing with their demons if they can control them they wont waste a moment to make a union like Europe. but the path to that point is hard and steep riddled with lack of trust, complaints, anger and frustration and thats what will make it more fun and rewarding.

Good. We have all had enough. These two countries, as well as Afghanistan and Iraq, have all had enough.

I am so glad that many people are standing up. I only hope they stay safe.
