Indonesian government finally announced that fuel price will be raised on 00.00 May 24th..

This official announcement held on May 23th 21.00 Wib (GMT+7) in Jakarta..

Peoples took benefit on the May 23th night to buy fuel with the former price, so they queued on local gas stations.. And in the same time, lot of protest actions occured in several places in Indonesia..

Some rumors said that some gas stations was force to be opened due to peoples rage, and peoples will continue their protest action tomorrow (May 25th)..

In Indonesia, there're 3 types of fuel that consumed generally.. Premium (for vehicle's machine), Solar (for diesel machine, heavier than Premium) and Minyak Tanah.. Formerly, Premium, Solar and Minyak Tanah sold on Rp4.500, Rp4.300 and Rp2.000.. Their prices become Rp6.000, Rp5.500 and Rp2.500 perlitre..
