Ingrid Betancourt thanks Chavez for FARC hostage liberations.

Caracas,Venezuel, 8 December 2008. Today, Colombian ex FARC hostage Ingrid Betancourt met with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez at Caracas. During their meeting, Betancourt thanked Chavez for helping release 15 Colombian hostages few months ago. She also asked Chavez to continue efforts to have all hostages liberated soon.  Ms Betancourt in on a Latin American tour to voice her concern over the fate of remaining hostages.
