The information leaked by Americans about the Afghanistan and Pakistan conflicts was either an intelligence breach or an intentional spill. The period of concern was during the Bush administration when things were going badly. Now, relationship with Pakistan is supposedly better. However, the fact that Pakistan’s intelligence people were cooperating with the Taliban in the past does not make Pakistan appear in a favorable light.

I think most people in America don’t trust the Pakistan government and don’t believe they are doing all that is possible to rid their soil of al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.

America would not be there if Pakistan got rid of the people that attacked the United States. As I posted before, I believe Pakistan is an enemy of the US as is Afghanistan. Even if we leave, and we will soon, we will not relent in our pursuit of those who attacked us. War will continue by robotry.

While the USA has some definite faults to address, the nations that complain and the nations that host our attackers are much worse than we are by comparison. So, keep it up, and we will destroy you, not because we want to, but because you are giving us no alternative.

“Pakistan's ambassador to Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq, said in an interview in Kabul that regardless of how the documents emerged, they cast a poor light on the Obama administration.

"If the documents were stolen, it's a very big question mark . . . because that creates a lot of doubt about the security of supposedly confidential information," Sadiq said. "If it's part of the official leak policy, then it must be timed."

"These allegations are always repeated," he said. "I don't see anything new."

As word spread Monday about the publication of more than 90,000 secret U.S. military documents by the Web site wikileaks.org, Afghans and others in Kabul who have lived through the war expressed little surprise at their revelations. Among Afghans, there is widespread suspicion that Pakistan's intelligence service, the ISI, supports the Taliban leadership, and residents here are also painfully aware of the harm wrought on civilians from insurgents and NATO forces.

"I think it's not a revelation for the Afghan people," said Haroun Mir, a political analyst in Kabul. "We have been saying this for quite a long time, that Pakistan is not honest when it comes to their cooperation in the war on terror. Now I think it's up to the U.S. administration what to do about it."

"Are they going to continue to reward bad behavior?" he added, citing U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's visit last week to Pakistan where she pledged $500 million in additional aid.”

Why would the Obama administration spill the subject intelligence? Contrast their performance versus Bush? Embarrass Pakistan because they are not being sufficiently aggressive and effective at this juncture when Americans are about to depart?

Or, is the Obama administration really that inept?

What policy change? The Obama administration is doing just as the Bush administration. Buying Pakistani assistance with copious injection of aid. And Pakistan continues to tap dance between compliance and not pissing off the Islamic extremist with in their own society who favor an equally conservative definition of Islamic Shari'a.

You know what, I believe you are correct.

yes pakistani intelligence were co-operating with the afghan mujahidin because U.S want pakistan to do so. after that day pakistan is in deep sort of trouble by following and fulfilling the U.S wishes. As far as 9/11 attacks are concerned, it was your journalist and media who produce the documentary "Fahrenheit" based on the facts and some proofs, reveling that U.S government is involved in the 9/11 attacks to find an excuse to invade Afghanistan for fulfillment of the very purpose for which Russia was struggling i-e. to gain most important geological position in the region to complete many cruel purposes, like to tighten the circle against Russia and China. Secondly to stop China from getting to the energy sources of middle east to harm the chinese economy which is a constant emerging threat to U.S, Thirdly as you know that U.S gain billions of dollars business by exporting the arms, so she needs to produce new war fields away from its home to continue exporting the arms to these poor countries and there many more reasons i can tell you for the U.S to invade afghanistan   for all this i think pakistan must render U.S on its own in this region to fail her in her cruel plans about the peace of the region.i can bet with pakistan pulling out its name from the so called ally list, U.S can never continue its afghan war even for a month. and if she do so her economy will collapse as its already in doldrums.
