They need not be hated or despised, but loved and respected.

Sex workers are humans and their work brings joy and solace to many. For six years now an international day honors the pivotal work they render in peoples lives.

An AIDS victim in Music City -- Nashville -- has become a local celebrity as he launched a program to protect prostitutes by distributing condoms and needles right when they are doing business in the dead of night.
