In a rare public appeal, Interpol has asked for worldwide assistance in arresting a suspected paedophile who has allegedly sexually abused several young Asian boys.

About 800 photos of the man, his possible victims and their locations were found on a computer that was seized by police in Norway in 2006.  The computer owner was later charged and convicted of paedophilia-related offences.

This is the second time Interpol has made a public appeal for assistance.  The first time was in October 2007, which resulted in the arrest of another alleged paedophile - Christopher Neil - 11 days after the appeal was made.
