IPL Franchises announce initial squads for IPL 2013.
The BCCI have released the squads of all the franchises that will take part in the next season of the Indian Premier League in 2013. Harbhajan Singh, who was rumoured to have been dropped by the Mumbai Indians, has been retained by the franchise for the next season.

Sun TV, the owners of the new franchise based in Hyderabad, has decided to retain over 20 players who were originally a part of the Deccan Chargers team. That includes Kumar Sangakkara, Dale Steyn, Cameron White and JP Duminy.
Each team has a salary cap of $12.5 million for a squad of 33 players, of whom 11 can be foreigners. The Rajasthan Royals have announced only 14 players in their squad, leaving them with a balance amount of around $8 million. Mumbai Indians on the other hand announced a squad with as many as 27 players, leaving them with only 1,808,261 $ for the auctions.
