Despite a heavy security presence trying to prevent protests on Tehran's major thoroughfares, a new round of protests are taking place over the Iran elections.

Yesterday was a bloody day as at least 10 people died during the latest round of Tehran protests. Stories arose that Mir-Hossein Mousavi was arrested, but the rumors proved to be unfounded.

[Update]:

Witnesses said there did not appear to be any opposition gatherings or demonstrations on Sunday, according to the AFP news agency.

The family members of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, former Iran's President and a political opponent of President Ahmadinejad, were arrested on Saturday. His daughter Faezah Hashemi still remains detained while four other family members have been released.

Four family members of Iran's influential former President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani have been released, but his daughter is still under custody, Iran's satellite channel Press TV reported Sunday.

They were arrested after they allegedly took part in "unauthorized protest rallies" in central Tehran after the June 12 presidential election, Press TV said, without giving more details.
Rafsanjani is a behind-the-scenes supporter of Mousavi.
