Iran threatens Israel

You know, carrying out threats against your neighbour, is not the way to go when you are looking to world opinion in setting up a nuclear program for your people's energy needs. Best to let Israel and US throw down the gauntlet first as World opinion would be centred on those who threaten the loudest, by countering with threats only results in one thing, all three countries playing a dangerous game, with countries like Turkey,Kurds, Iraq and Pakistan all to eager to join in against you for a piece of the real estate action.
Iran threatens Israel
By AP
TEHRAN, IRAN -- The commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards has warned that Tehran will respond forcefully if Israel or the United States attacks its nuclear facilities.
Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari is quoted in the conservative Jam-e-Jam newspaper as saying Iran would respond to such an attack with a barrage of missiles against Israel.
Jafari also threatened to choke off the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a narrow outlet for tankers leaving the Persian Gulf through which 60% of the world's oil for export moves.
His remarks yesterday follow the recent disclosure of a large Israeli military exercise over the Mediterranean Sea that was seen as sending a message to Iran to curb its nuclear ambitions.
Iran insists its nuclear program, including uranium enrichment, is aimed solely at the peaceful generation of power.

Thanks Korzac for visiting and your comments, certainly Iran playing schoolyard bully with bluffs which will have serious consequences that even Iran's trading partner Russia may back away and say to Iran, Hey! It's nice knowing ya!

Hey Moon, good to see you again!! True, Israel have thrown up threats as well, and as I have reported in the past,Iran if they want positive public opinion, should not cast the first stone. As for Russia backing down, maybe not, but only of they get something in return, like a few oil fields, Russia do not do nothing for nothing. It is just not their nature,
