Three Iranian Prominent clerics asked Muslim nations to ban Israeli made goods.

In an interview to the “Al-Aalam” press agency, three Iranian Grand Ayatullahs, namely Makarem Shirazi, Mousavi Ardabili and Sobhani said that, the money that Israel earns from its foreign trade is used for Palestinian suppression and any purchase of Israeli made goods by Muslims is prohibited.

A recent poll @ the Daily Kos showed 73% in favour of a Boycott of Israeli goods/sanctions/divestment etc.

Before the recent violence against the captive population of Gaza, I believe the figure would have been around 30%.

Daily Kos is the premier political community in the United States, with daily traffic between 2-4 million visits.

Great to see some Iranians and Americans sharing a common view!

Do you support a campaign of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel? Yes   2106 votes - 73 % No   648 votes - 22 % I think I can avoid taking a stand on this issue.   116 votes - 4 %   2870 Total Votes Poll submitted: Sun Jan 11, 2009 at 01:59:00 PM PST
