Iranian Diplomat Kidnapped and His Gaurd Killed In Peshawar

GHALLANAI: Unknown gunmen kidnapped Commercial Attaché of Iranian Consulate, Hashmatullah Atharzadah and killed his guard from Hayatabad on Thursday, sources said. His vehicle was intercepted by armed men when he was traveling from his house towards office. Gunmen tried to hold him hostage and guard was shot dead when he tried to resist. The guard was identified as Sajjad Khan. It is to be mentioned that it is the second incident of kidnapping in the locality of Hayatabad in the vicinity of Peshawar.Earlier, Afghan Councel General to Pakistan; Abdul Khaliq Farahi was abducted from the same area in September.
